What started as a rental venture has now evolved into a cozy cottage to share only with friends and family. Renters tended to be hard on the property and didn’t stay within the rules. We know our friends and family will love the cottage as much as we do. Our OBX neighbors are awesome, the cottage is well-equipped, and the town is perfect for a quiet, family stay.
Our fees for friends and family are approximately 1/2 of a regular OBX weekly rental. You pay the cleaner and a management fee. Everyone is happy, and the house is LOVED. It’s not a luxury hotel, but great if you are looking to unplug and relax. Call or text me for exact rates and availability.

If you like to bike, walk, and enjoy nature, this modestly sized cottage is for you.
If you are looking to see and enjoy nature, wander the lazy town of Duck, then retreat to a relaxing neighborhood home listening to crickets, bird sounds, and visits from our local herd of deer, this is your place.
Drive, walk, or rent bikes to make the 1/2-mile trip to the private OBX beaches of Southern Shores. Eat at local restaurants, enjoy the Duck downtown boardwalk, climb the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, or explore Jockey’s Ridge State Park before returning to this comfy cottage complete with a wraparound deck, Smart TV, and a full kitchen with a dining table that comfortably seats 5-6 adults.
